President Donald Trump and House Speaker Paul Ryan seem to be thick as thieves. However, Paul Ryan just revealed that he really doesn’t trust President Trump.
But how can anyone blame him? I mean, we are talking about a guy here who has flip-flopped on so many of his ideas, no one seems to know where he stands. Sure, we know he wants to build a wall. But what about everything else?
Ryan is skeptical. Ryan’s skepticism was brought to the surface earlier this week in an CBS interview.
Earlier this week, Trump tweeted, ‘The Democrats will make a deal with me on healthcare as soon as ObamaCare folds – not long. Do not worry, we are in very good shape!’

Ryan spoke about his concerns about this tweet and said,
‘What I worry about Norah is that if we don’t do this, then he’ll just go work with Democrats to try and change Obamacare, and that’s hardly a conservative thing.’
Ryan tried to save himself after that when said, ‘This is a can-do president, who’s a business guy, and he wants to get things done. I know he wants to get things done with the Republican Congress…’
‘About 90% of our members are for this bill, and we’re not going to give up after seven years of dealing with this, after running on a plan all of last year, translating that plan into legislation, which is what this is.’
Will Ryan keep Trump by his side?
