It’s hard to know where to start when it comes to selecting Donald Trump’s very worst selection for his swamp monster-filled cabinet.
It may be Andrew Puzder, the CEO of Hardee’s who doesn’t believe in a minimum wage. It might also be Treasury Secretary appointee Steven Mnuchin, who likely foreclosed on many of the same people who voted Trump into office. Special consideration has to be given, however, for Trump’s leading choice for Agriculture Secretary.
According to Politico, Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller is currently auditioning to be Agriculture Secretary for all of Trumpland. He recently made the journey to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida to press the flesh with Trump in hopes of gaining one of the final open cabinet positions. Miller drew considerable ire (and, likely, praise from Trump) when he retweeted a sickeningly offensive tweet about then-candidate Hillary Clinton. The Tweet said: “PENNSYLVANIA NEW AUTO ALLIANCE POLL” and listed “Trump 44” followed by “Cunt 43” with the final message “Go Trump Go!” A Miller staffer later deleted the tweet with the following dubious claim, [email protected] HAS BEEN HACKED. The disgusting re-tweet has been removed and we have changed all account passwords. Be advised.” Why is Trump nominating cretins like this to his cabinet?
